Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
• The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format (following the OPS Journal Manuscript Template; https://optimumscience.org/index.php/pub/templates). Submissions without formatting will be returned to authors.
• My full-text manuscript does not exceed 6,000 words (the word limit does not apply to the abstract, three keywords, list of references, acknowledgments, conflict of interest and appendices).
• The manuscript has been blinded for review - ensure there is no identifying information included about the authors (names, institutions, publications) in your manuscript.
• The text is 1.5 spaced; uses a 11 of Times New Roman (TNR) font (except main titles); employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
• The submission is written in English for the global audience. Ensure the English language is carefully edited to academic standards.
• Copyright Transfer Form (https://optimumscience.org/index.php/pub/templates) uploaded at the time of submission.
